Our founder/CEO, Jake, is a seasoned crypto builder and serial entrepreneur. We are a tight-knit team that has worked together for the past two years, with deep expertise across crypto and blockchain, front-end and back-end development, smart contract engineering, mathematics, statistics, and financial services. Responsibilities
Develop and maintain the Mitosis Chain, a purpose-built layer 1 blockchain leveraging CometBFT and EVM
Operate validator and RPC nodes for the Mitosis Chain with DevOps engineers
Develop and maintain chain-related contracts written in Solidity alongside contract engineers
Research various blockchain infrastructures to improve our chain
Communicate and collaborate with a fully distributed team
Requirements
Over 2 years of experience in software development
Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Go, Rust, or Solidity
Strong motivation to learn and develop blockchain technology and infrastructure
Experience in operating nodes such as Ethereum or Cosmos SDK-based chains
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Nice to Have
Experience in developing Cosmos SDK-based chains
Knowledge of various EIP standards and Ethereum infrastructure
Knowledge of arbitrary message bridges such as Hyperlane, LayerZero, Axelar, and Wormhole
Knowledge of economic security and restaking protocols such as EigenLayer, Babylon, and Symbiotic
Knowledge of consensus algorithms such as CometBFT and various decentralized protocols
Experience in smart contract development
Familiarity with open-source development and collaboration

Hiring Process
